IN-VENUE EXPERIENCE & BRANDING

For over a century, purple and gold have stood for grit, pride, and tradition in Seattle. We partnered with the University of Washington to celebrate that legacy through a unified visual identity built for their entire athletics program, across five venues and nine sports.

Our challenge was to build a flexible, sport-agnostic system while modernizing how those visuals live and move across every screen. The result was a comprehensive package that balanced heritage with innovation and optimized integration into their real-time Xpression workflow.

We kicked off by meeting with the UW team to unpack their current challenges and align on a shared vision for success. From there, our designers built moodboards and styleframes that pushed the brand forward while staying grounded in what makes the Huskies unmistakably recognizable.

After establishing the animation language, we joined the UW graphics team onsite in Seattle to preview and refine every deliverable across every screen and venue. 

No matter how polished an element looks on a desktop monitor, nothing compares to seeing it in real world conditions where lighting, weather, and screen variation reveal details only visible in the venues.

Following onsite testing and refinements, we delivered toolkits and versioned content at scale, ensuring that the UW team could launch seamlessly across every screen.
