This weekend we had the pleasure of participating in the Culver City Art Walk, hosting a reception for the talented Patrick Ballesteros. Having worked with Patrick since 2007 over countless projects, we knew he wasn’t just a skilled storyboard artist but an accomplished fine artist as well. For the Art Walk, he showcased the 80’s pop-culture centric ’25 Cent Wonders’ series. Check out the full series here – PatrickBallesteros.com/illustrations
As a participating venue in the Art Walk, we also wanted to use this as a chance to give back to one Culver City’s non-profits as well and the Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) proved to be the perfect fit. ECF works with children and adults with developmental disabilities and part of their program gives students arts education and a chance to exhibit in their DTLA gallery. To raise funds and awareness for this awesome organization, Patrick designed a limited edition tote that we sold at the reception, donating the proceeds to ECF. Learn more about ECF here – ECF.net
A huge thanks to everyone who came out to the show!
